Zu Ihrem ersten Lauf im Jahr 2020 zog es Janek Waldschmidt, Marc-Alexander Funk, Dirk und Carmen Eisenkrämer, Sonja Gabriel, sowie Holger Burbach nach Watzenborn-Steinberg.

Es war der zweite Lauf der Winterlaufserie in Pohlheim. Der Veranstalter konnte sich über 350 Finisher freuen. Zugpferd war auch der Mittelhessen-Cup, wo dieser mit dem 15Km und 5Km Lauf, seine Eröffnung fand. Die Athleten hatten bei sonnigem Winterwetter teilweise mit sehr starkem kaltem Gegenwind zu kämpfen, was ziemlich kräftezehrend war.

Schnellster ASC´ler im 15Km Hauptlauf war Alex, er benötigte 1:04:46 Stunde und belegte damit Platz acht in der Altersklasse M45. Ihm folgten Dirk (1:06:03 Stunde) und Holger (1:06:58 Stunde) auf den Plätzen 10 und 11, in derselben Altersklasse, was zu einem super Mannschaftsergebnis führte.

Carmen konnte die Strecke in 1.38:07 Stunde zurücklegen was Platz 11 in der W45 bedeutete.

Viel Zuspruch hatte auch der 5Km Lauf wo Janek in Guten 18:49 Minuten den fünften Gesamtplatz bei den Männern belegte. In der Frauenklasse konnte Sonja aufs Treppchen laufen, sie erreichte Platz drei auf dem Podest in 22:44 Minuten.
