Bei herrlicher Spätsommer-Witterung jagten stark besetzte Läuferfelder über den welligen Wiesenkurs des Reitgeländes in der Wetterau, der mit zahlreichen Hindernissen, kurzen Hügeln und vielen engen Kurven immer wieder Tempowechsel herausforderte. Läufer wie Zuschauer konnten auf der weitläufigen 1500-Meter-Runde die Entwicklung der Rennen stets einsehen und freuten sich über eine reibungslose Organisation.

Inga-Simone Kern vom ASC Dillenburg lief, im Rennen der Frauen über 4500 Meter , nach 20:45 Minuten in der W35 auf den zweiten Rang und sicherte sich somit den Vize-Hessenmeistertitel im Crosslauf.
