Nach einer Corona-Pause meldete sich die Limes-Winterlaufserie Pohlheim bei ihrer 46. Auflage mit über 260 Startern überaus erfolgreich zurück. Bei ruhigem Herbstwetter setzten die Läuferinnen und Läufer bei der Auftaktveranstaltung über zehn Kilometer erste Pflöcke zur Serienwertung mit den nachfolgenden Rennen über 15 Kilometer und Halbmarathon. Zugleich galt es, beim vorletzten Wettbewerb der Laufserie um den Mittelhessen-Cup 2022 noch wichtige Punkte zu sammeln.

Janek Waldschmidt vom ASC Dillenburg erreichte als schnellster M30-Starter nach 17:49 Minuten den vierten Platz.
